Climate means the weather in a country over a long space of time. So for example, Ireland has a temperate climate. That means that it's rarely too hot or two cold. We have four seasons; spring, summer, autumn and winter. We are able to grow lots of different foods because we get lots of rain and we get sun too. We can't grow more exotic fruits like oranges, pineapples or avocados because we don't have warm enough weather. All of Ireland has the same climate, we all get about the same amount of rain and the same temperatures. Well Mexico has a very interesting climate, it does not have the same climate everywhere, in fact some parts of Mexico can be really, really hot and some parts can be really, really cold on the same day! The hottest it has ever been in Mexico is 52.5 degrees Celsius and the coldest is -29 degrees Celsius! Those temperatures are very extreme and difficult for any life to live in! Check out the prezi below by pressing play on the icon and using the arrows to see the different climates in different areas of Mexico.
